Rainbow Center's residential care program serves clients ages birth to 21. Our service area is counties across the state of North Carolina (primarily in Northwestern North Carolina) Our objective is to teach children structure, responsibility, and other skills while helping them deal with their situations. Our children are referred from Social Services, Juvenile Justice, and area Mental Health agencies. Children are referred for a variety of different reasons, including abuse, neglect, delinquency, etc. Highly trained RCCFS Teaching Parents work with the children in the cottages( group homes ) 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week. Children follow the nationally accredited Teaching Family Model. RCCFS has a success rate of 89% of clients that successfully complete this program.
