·         “Do I want to provide a secure, nurturing environment for children while  introducing  

        them to love and support which rarely comes from those who have hurt them?”

·         “Can I tolerate the “red tape” that often comes with those of child abuse, and/or

         neglect when I myself make suggestions to what may be right for a child and yet…

         often times, the system fails them and my suggestions and concerns are not

         implemented?”

·         “Do I want to work with children of such abuse or neglect, hear their stories, feel their

         pain and know my heart will feel the pain during this work and often times at home as well?”
